       ​Patterns are all around us. Finding and understanding patterns gives us great power. With patterns we can learn to predict the future, discover new things and better understand the world around us. Patterns can be simple and complicated, mathematical and language, architectural and scientific.
       In this unit students will learn about different types patterns and ways they can be described and represented. Students will investigate how patterns and rules can be used to make predictions to solve problems. They will explore examples of patterns in the daily life as well as create patterns on their own.
